23 April: The water from the filthy rest rooms smelled like the worst rotten eggs (sulphur) you've ever been around. These are the reasons I carry a water filter. The filtered water was perfectly potable and refreshing. After setting up camp under the pines, and cooking up a pot of lentils and pasta, I enjoyed the beautiful desert sunset. The night air was wonderfully cool for sleeping.
